Bridging the Gap Project

Bridging the Gap is the Optimist International Caribbean District’s major community project at this time. The project seeks to provide transitional support services in housing, mentorship, and continuing studies for male youths who have matured out of the tertiary child protection system and have no familial support for reintegrating into the wider society.

We will be raising funds – the proceeds of which will go towards the promotion of the Transitional living programme of the Child Development Agency in Jamaica. The funds raised will assist with the construction of a multi- million dollar facility to accommodate 40 young men in south St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.  Please – Invest Now and help bridge the gap for at least one young man whose life could be lost without your support.
